Asus launches Transformer Book Trio at Rs 98,099

Asus has launched a new hybrid in the Indian market, The Transformer Book Trio. It is a 'three-in-one' device, which can function as either a laptop, a tablet or even power a personal computer. It is priced at Rs 98,099. Being light and compact it is also highly portable.
With an 11.6 inch monitor, it can be used as a laptop running on Windows 8 or a detachable tablet running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean. Or else the dock can be connected to an external monitor to use it as a Windows PC.
The device is powered by Intel 4th generation Haswell CPU for the Windows 8 operating system.
It is paired with 4GB of RAM and features a 720p front camera and up to 1TB HDD. When used as an Android tablet, it is powered by a 2GHz Intel Z2580 SoC and paired with 2GB or RAM. There is a 5-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and 1090p video recording, up to 64GB of flash internal memory and a 19Wh battery.
The PC mode has Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.0, while the tablet's connectivity options include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 3.0. A separate battery has been added to both-the tablet and the dock. When used as an Android tablet, the Trio can last for up to 13 hours. The Windows 8 tablet can give up to 5 hours.
