Samsung launches Galaxy J5, Galaxy J7 exclusively on Flipkart

Samsung has announced the launch of two new smartphones in the Indian market which will be sold exclusively on Flipkart. The Galaxy J5 and the Galaxy J7 are priced at Rs 11,999 and Rs 14,999 respectively and can be pre-booked between 16 July and 23 July.

The Galaxy J5 has a 5inch HD display and is powered by 1.2Ghz Snapdragon quad-core processor. It has 1.5GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, support for expandable memory and 2600mAh battery. The Galaxy J7 features a 5.5inch HD display. It is powered by 1.5GHz octa-core Exynos processor, 1.5GB RAM, 16GB internal storage and support of up to 128GB of expandable memory. It packs in a 3000 mAh battery.
Both the smartphones are dual SIM devices and have a 13MP rear camera with auto focus, LED flash and a 5MP front facing camera with LED flash.

The two new offerings from Samsung will compete against the Xiaomi Mi 4i and Xolo Black, both of which are priced at Rs 12,999.
