71st National Film Awards: Mohanlal Wins Phalke, Shah Rukh & Vikrant Shine

The 71st National Film Awards lit up Vigyan Bhawan, New Delhi, celebrating Indian cinema’s finest talent. President Droupadi Murmu honoured winners across categories, with veteran superstar Mohanlal receiving the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award for his remarkable contribution. The Best Actor award was shared by Shah Rukh Khan for ‘Jawan’ and Vikrant Massey for ‘12th Fail’, while Rani Mukerji won Best Actress for ‘Mrs. Chatterjee vs. Norway’. Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s ‘12th Fail’ was named Best Feature Film, while ‘Kathal’ earned Best Hindi Film. Other highlights included ‘Sam Bahadur’, ‘The Kerala Story’, and ‘Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani’. From music to choreography, regional cinema to Bollywood blockbusters, the night truly celebrated the diversity and brilliance of Indian films.
