The shockwaves from Rahul Gandhi’s “Hydrogen Bomb” press conference have reached 14,000 kilometres away in Brazil. 28-year-old model Larissa Nerry, a hairstylist and digital creator, found herself at the centre of an unexpected political storm after her photos appeared in the Congress MP’s presentation against the Election Commission. Gandhi claimed her image was used 22 times in Haryana’s voter rolls. Speaking exclusively to India Today, Larissa said she was “completely shocked” by the revelation and has never visited India. The Election Commission is yet to clarify how her photo ended up in the electoral database.
