Aseem Mahajan, Additional Secretary (Gulf), revealed that 2,551 Indian nationals have been successfully evacuated from Iran via land borders with critical embassy assistance. Indian embassies and consulates across the Gulf have established round-the-clock emergency helplines, working closely with local authorities, community organizations, and regional companies. Additionally, the government has issued an urgent advisory strongly warning Indian citizens to avoid all travel to Iran as security conditions worsen.
