Congress Deletes Post Targeting CJI Surya Kant; BJP Slams Party Over Judiciary Row

The Congress has come under fire after its Kerala unit posted a message on X calling for Chief Justice of India Surya Kant to resign over his remarks on law and order. The post was later deleted, but the BJP seized on it to attack the party. The Supreme Court Bar Association also condemned the message, saying it undermined the dignity of the judiciary. Congress distanced itself from the post, with spokesperson Pawan Khera saying the person responsible had been removed. The controversy comes as the INDIA bloc challenges Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar and the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls.
