A disturbing assault video from Gurugram’s ultra-luxury The Camellias has sparked outrage after a domestic worker was allegedly slapped, pushed, pulled by her hair and assaulted inside a high-end apartment. Gurugram Police took suo motu cognisance of the incident and registered an FIR following the alleged July 24 assault, reportedly stemming from a minor dispute over work. The accused, identified as 52-year-old Ruchira Sachdeva, was arrested but was later granted bail at the police station. The domestic worker, reportedly from Nepal, has since left the job and returned to Nepal with her family.
