Honda ZR-V hybrid is coming to India — 22.79 kmpl mileage and ADAS at what price?

The Honda ZR-V Hybrid SUV was unveiled in India alongside the 2026 Honda City facelift. It will be offered as a Completely Built Unit (CBU) with pre-booking opening this month — bringing Honda's strong hybrid technology to India's competitive SUV segment.

The ZR-V features L-shaped LED DRLs, sharp LED headlights, a sculpted bonnet and a small blacked-out grille. On the sides, gloss black body cladding, integrated LED turn signals on ORVMs and 18-inch alloy wheels give it a premium crossover stance.

The ZR-V comes equipped with 8 airbags and Honda Sensing ADAS — Honda's suite of active safety features including collision mitigation braking, lane keeping assist, adaptive cruise control and road departure mitigation.

Inside, the ZR-V features a 9-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a 10.2-inch digital driver's display, ventilated and electrically adjustable front seats with memory function, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control and a 12-speaker Bose sound system.

Powered by a 2-litre strong hybrid petrol engine paired with an e-CVT, the ZR-V produces 180 hp and 315 Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0–100 km/h in just 8 seconds and has an electronically limited top speed of 170 km/h.

The Honda ZR-V Hybrid claims a mileage of 22.79 km/l — one of the highest claimed fuel efficiency figures for any mid-size SUV in the Indian market, making it a compelling option against rivals like the Maruti Grand Vitara and Toyota Hyryder hybrids.
