Govt to remove 7 tariff rates, to keep 8 rates under the revised structureFinance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman, while presenting the first full-year Budget for Modi 3.0 government, said the government would remove 7 tariff customs rates and keep only eight tariff rates after the revision.
"The government propose removal of 7 tariff rates over an above those in removed in earlier budget. Only 8 tariff rates to remain after the new move," FM said in the parliament on Saturday.
