With nearly 80 days left for the Election Day, Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney has stepped up his attacks on President
Barack Obama's economic stewardship.
The
US economy remains President Barack Obama's top vulnerability with unemployment remaining at 8.3 per cent.
Employers added 163,000 jobs in July after months of weak job addition. US home prices and exports are inching up and Dow Jones Industrial Average is near year's highs. But the US economic recovery is yet to see a strong recovery.
On his part Obama has acknowledged that challenges remain on the economic front but has stressed that it is improving.
