Infiniti Retail to launch 3G tablets at Rs 9,900

Tata group firm Infiniti Retail is expanding its Croma range of tablets. It will launch Croma-branded 3G tablets in the next two weeks. The 3G tablets are likely to priced at Rs 9,900.

Infiniti Retail, which runs 'Croma' chain of consumer electronics and durables stores, already sells Croma-branded 2G tablets and smartphones.

Ajit Joshi, Managing Director and CEO of Infiniti Retail, said the 3G tablets  would be sourced the tablets from China and Taiwan.

Infiniti Retail already sells Croma-branded 2G tablets priced at Rs 6,990 while the Croma-branded smartphones are priced between Rs 8,990 and Rs 10,990.

The company is expanding its range of products under the Croma brand. It has launched various types of washing machines under the Croma brand.

Joshi said that Infiniti Retail is targeting revenues of around Rs 200 crore from its private label business in 2013-14. (With Agency Inputs)
