Suzuki, Volkswagen end partnership
The Japanese and German automakers announced the partnership in 2009 but
have been unable to agree on details of the cooperation.

Suzuki Motor Corp said on Monday that it has decided to dissolve its partnership and cross-shareholding relationship with Volkswagen AG.
The Japanese and German automakers announced the partnership in 2009 but have been unable to agree on details of the cooperation. Volkswagen owns a 20 per cent stake in Suzuki.
Suzuki says its primary goal was technology transfer and that it sought an indepdendent, equal partnership with Volkswagen. But it decided this was impossible.
