Eight-year-old Zoyal Ghale, who fled rising floodwaters and survived by climbing trees, was later rescued and reunited with his mother in Kathmandu. In another remarkable recovery in Nuwakot, rescuers spent nearly eight hours searching a flood-submerged Agricultural Development Bank branch and recovered gold worth around 50 crore Nepalese rupees, along with cash, silver, valuables and important documents.
