₹19,000 Crore Recovered From Returned Fugitives, Claims BJP's Gaurav Bhatia

BJP leader Gaurav Bhatia claimed that nearly ₹19,000 crore has been recovered from fugitives who have been brought back to India. According to him, assets worth ₹18,762 crore have been recovered and returned to the country. Bhatia alleged that previous Congress governments lacked the political will and technological capability to effectively pursue economic offenders. He also said Union Home Minister Amit Shah is committed to ensuring that no fugitive escapes justice and that all accused will be brought back to India to face trial. The opposition, he claimed, does not want these developments to receive attention.
