ISRO Chief Dr V Narayanan said the space agency attempted the PSLV-C62/EOS-N1 mission, using a four-stage launch vehicle with two solid and two liquid propulsion stages. He noted that the rocket’s performance remained normal until the near end of the third stage. However, increased disturbance was observed at that point, followed by a deviation in the vehicle’s flight path. Narayanan said ISRO is currently analysing the mission data to understand the anomaly and assess the sequence of events that led to the deviation during the flight.
