Vijay Govt Faces DMK Heat: Kanimozhi Invokes Dhanush Film Over Jobs, Welfare, Law & Order

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay is facing fresh criticism from the DMK, with MP Kanimozhi targeting the TVK government over employment promises and welfare measures. Referring to actor Dhanush’s 2014 film about an unemployed graduate, Kanimozhi alleged that promised ₹4,000 assistance for unemployed graduates had not reached beneficiaries. She also claimed families were yet to receive the six LPG cylinders promised by TVK. Meanwhile, DMK leader Udhayanidhi Stalin and Kanimozhi criticised the government over the murder of a man named Ajith in Chennai’s Ice House police station limits. The political attacks come amid reports of nine murders in Chennai over two days.
