SUVs, luxury cars to become expensive

Finance Minister P Chidambaram in Budget 2013 has proposed to increase excise duty on sports utility vehicles to 30 per cent from 27 per cent.

Chidambaram has also increased the import duty on luxury cars to 100 per cent from 75 per cent.
