According to the company, in women's category ethnic wear saw an upward trend and 14 per cent of all searches on Snapdeal were related to items like sarees, dress materials, suits etc., while 70 per cent of all women ethnic wear orders came from non-metro areas.
The demand for innerwear also surged during the year and the category witnessed 200 per cent growth for women and 100 per cent growth for men, Snapdeal said.
