Dabangg 2 nets Rs 85 crore in five days at the box office

Dabangg 2 capped a very good year for the Bollywood, with the Salman Khan-starrer performing strongly at the box office in its first week.
 
Dabangg 2 earned around Rs 15 crore on Christmas Day, taking its five-day collections to over Rs 85 crore.

Dabangg 2 has also preformed well overseas, collecting close to $4 million in its opening weekend.

Another Salman starrer, Ek Tha Tiger, had grossed around Rs 93.50 crore in its first five days.

The year 2012 has been a very good year for Bollywood with its long list of hits including Agneepath, Kahaani, Housefull 2, Vicky Donor, Ishaqzaade, Rowdy Rathore, Bol Bachchan, Cocktail. Raaz 3, Barfi!, Jab Tak Hai Jaan, Son Of Sardaar, Ek Tha Tiger, Talaash, and Dabangg 2.
