

The Bharti Airtel stock closed higher on Wednesday, the third consecutive day of gain for the stock.
The stock closed about 4.2 per cent higher on Tuesday after the company on September 1 said Airtel Networks Kenya Limited (Airtel Kenya); a wholly owned subsidiary of Bharti Airtel International Netherlands BV has signed a definitive agreement with Essar Telecommunications Kenya Limited, which operates under the brand name 'yuMobile', to acquire its over 2.7 million subscribers.
The stock opened at Rs 392 level, rose to an intra-day high of Rs 408 and closed at Rs 403.15 or 2.87 per cent higher on the BSE on Wednesday.
