Samsung launches Galaxy SIII priced at Rs 43,180

Priced at Rs 43,180, Samsung on Thursday launched its smartphone Galaxy SIII in India. The smartphone is priced slightly lower than Apple's iPhone 4S that comes at a price of Rs 44,500 for the 16-GB model, Rs 50,900 for the 32-GB and Rs 57,500 for 64-GB versions respectively.

 

However, the phone's pricing is higher than HTC One X, which is priced at Rs 37,899.

The Galaxy series of smartphones have been widely acknowledged as a success for Samsung.

The 4.8-inch S III features more computing power that supports voice commands and an eye-movement tracking feature to keep the screen from dimming.
