Lenovo IdeaPad K1 tablet gets Android ICS update

The Android ICS upgrade offers a new and improved browser with a speed enhancement that allows users to jump to their favourite content faster and even save it for reading later in case there's no network available.

Lenovo's IdeaPad K1 tablet users will be able to upgrade to the latest Android 4.0 OS, also known as Ice Cream Sandwich.

Lenovo said users should look out for the Over-The-Air (OTA) ICS upgrades for IdeaPad K1 tablet.

The Android ICS upgrade offers a new and improved browser with a speed enhancement that allows users to jump to their favourite content faster and even save it for reading later in case there's no network available.

ICS upgrade allows users to dictate text. After dictating, users can tap the underlined words to quickly replace them from a list of suggestions.

It also brings a new Face Unlock feature, which lets users unlock their device with their face.
