Rumours are abuzz that Nokia will be bringing out the E7, a new sibling in its successful E-series family. Unlike other E-series variants, this one will be a slider.
It will have a 4-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen and a QWERTY keypad. The display will be laced with accelerometer, proximity and magnetometer sensors. Running on the latest Symbian ^3 , the E7 will be powered by a 680 MHz ARM processor.
The latest entry into the E series will have an 8 megapixel camera with dual LED flash, bluetooth 3.0, wi-fi, on board GPS with A-GPS for connectivity, full screen email viewer with HTML support, conversational view for SMS and onboard memory of 16 GB.
It will come preloaded with applications like Mail for Exchange, IBM Lotus Notes Traveler, Quick office Dynamic Premium, Vlingo, Adobe PDF reader, World traveler App, F-Secure anti-theft software for mobile and Nokia Ovi Maps with free GPS navigation.
There is no word on its official launch date yet, but expect it in the market by the end of this year. It will be available in grey, silver white and blue colours.
