Battlegrounds Mobile India Independence Day Mahotsav announced: All the rewards that are up for grabs

Battlegrounds Mobile India has announced the Independence Day Mahotsav event in lieu of the upcoming Independence Day in India. The popular mobile game will offer daily rewards to players during the event, which is scheduled to last till August 20.

Among the highlights, an AWM Skin is up for grabs during the Independence Day Mahotsav. Battlegrounds Mobile India also promises to offer new rewards to players every day as they complete new missions introduced during the event.

Players can look for these missions under the events centre within the game. There are currently two categories that the Independence Day missions have been distributed in. One is the Independence Day Login Event which requires players to sign in to the game for seven consecutive days. The seven days should be within a period of August 12 to August 20 2021.

Players logging in for seven consecutive days during the period will be able to grab a gift for each day. These rewards range from Battle Points (BP) and Royale Pass (RP) to an AWM skin.

Another part of the event is called Independence Day: Brothers in Arms. It lists a total of three missions that players have to complete along with their friends within the game. Players are required to play the Classic Squad mode with their friends multiple times a day to complete the missions.

Playing up to eight games in a day will complete all three missions and unlock their rewards. The rewards include BP and Ace Gold (AG) which can be exchanged for items in the game shop.

Going forward, everyday events will also be conducted as part of the celebration. Starting August 13 as Independence Day: Day 1, the event will have new missions for players to complete every day in order to earn rewards.

Battlegrounds Mobile India is also gearing up for a milestone of hitting 50 million downloads since its launch in July. The game is restricted to Android devices as of now, and so the number represents its downloads solely on the Play Store.

The battle royale game has already crossed 49 million downloads and is expected to reach its milestone soon. Once the game launches on iOS, these downloads are only anticipated to increase multifold. Though for now, the only news we have for its Apple App Store launch is through a teaser shared by the firm last week. However, it does not reveal any specific date to look forward to.
