At BT Davos 2026, Business Today TV hosted an in-depth conversation with Mukesh Aghi, President & CEO, US–India Strategic Partnership Forum, co-moderated by Siddharth Zarabi, Group Editor, Business Today, and Rajdeep Sardesai, Consulting Editor, India Today TV. The discussion examined whether the US–India relationship is asymmetrical or a true partnership. Aghi argued that the partnership is being driven strongly by business, the US Congress, the defence establishment, and the technology sector, even as political noise persists. He highlighted growing two-way investment, citing major Indian investments in US manufacturing, steel, aluminium, and pharmaceuticals. With over $40 billion invested by Indian companies in the US in recent years, Aghi stressed that the relationship is evolving into a deeper, mutually beneficial economic partnership beyond IT and services.
