Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis outlined an ambitious roadmap for infrastructure and economic development, drawing key takeaways from Davos. He said India’s journey towards a $10–20 trillion economy cannot follow a “business-as-usual” path and must be driven by innovation-led leapfrogging. Highlighting Mumbai 3.0, Fadnavis announced the launch of India’s first Innovation City, backed by a plug-and-play ecosystem for global investors. Tata Group has committed nearly $11 billion towards data centres and allied infrastructure. The innovation and new business districts will be located within 15–25 minutes of the upcoming Navi Mumbai airport, positioning Maharashtra as a global hub for AI, technology, and next-generation economic growth.
