Lamborghini launches HuracanLP580-2 at Rs 2.99 crore

Italian luxury sports-car maker Automobili Lamborghini on Friday launched Huracan LP 580-2 in India priced at Rs 2.99 crore (ex-showroom Delhi).

"We are delighted to be unveiling the Hurac n LP 580-2 in India within just three days of its global launch," Lamborghini India Head Pavan Setty said.

The model, which is a two-wheeled drive version of the Italian sportscar marque's popular Huracn coupe, is powered by a 5,204cc engine and is capable of reaching a top speed of 320 km/hr.

The company claims that the new Huracan LP 580-2 can accelerate from 0 100 km/hr in just 3.4 seconds.

"This is the purist expression of Huracan till date with class leading technological refinements designed to deliver sheer performance," he added.

The model was showcased at the Los Angeles Motor Show two days back. It will be retailed in India from Delhi and Mumbai initially.

It adds to Automobili Lamborghini's existing Hurac n offering of the four wheel-drive Hurac n LP 610-4 and the Hurac n LP 610-4 Spyder.

Previous Lamborghini rear-wheel drive models include the predecessor Gallardo LP 550-2.
