Tata Motors to sell Nano merchandise on Ebay

In an effort to popularise its Nano brand, Tata Motors has entered into a collaboration with shopping portal Ebay to sell various merchandise, including scale model, watches and pen drives, with the small car's badge .

"Ebay has a good reach in metros, Tier I and II cities and this collaboration will help us reach out to Nano fans, spread across the country," Tata Motors Head (Nano Product Group) Delna Avari said in a statement.



"This is the first time that a car brand will be selling its merchandise through Ebay.in," the auto maker claimed.

The Nano merchandise on Ebay includes Nano branded Titan watches and dry-fit T-shirts for men and women. Nano shaped pen drives, mouse, scale models, caps and key-chains among others can also be purchased from the portal.

Claiming that the Nano was one of the first cars in India to be booked online , the company said with this latest move, online marketing initiatives will reach the next level.

The company also said the Tata Nano Facebook page has a fan base of over 1.6 million.

"Tata Nano will conduct an online poll across all Tata Nano fans. A Tata Nano fan can vote for her favorite merchandise online and also stands a chance to win it too," the statement added.
