Non-local vehicle control software can be a national security issue, according to Eka Mobility founder, chairman and managing director Sudhir Mehra. The control of software, the heart of an electric vehicle, has to reside in India because these are smart and intelligent vehicles which can be started, moved and stopped remotely, said Mehta. "Cyber protection is an important part in any vehicle control software and there is a very clear roadmap that we have," said Mehta.
