
Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is strengthening its European auto-tech presence through a major acquisition and strategic partnership with Porsche. Karan Dhar, Business Today explains that TCS will acquire Porsche’s consulting arm MHP for €320 million and onboard around 4,500 employees. The companies have also signed a five-year strategic partnership worth €1.25 billion, focused on scaling artificial intelligence across Porsche’s engineering, manufacturing operations and customer experience. TCS will also create a dedicated AI mobility centre of excellence for Porsche. The deal is expected to deepen TCS’s presence in Germany and expand its footprint across the European automotive technology market.
