Adani’s Challenge To IITians: “Write Your Own Code, Redefine Bharat’s Future, Not Theirs”

Speaking at IIT Dhanbad, Adani Group chairman Gautam Adani delivered an intense and provocative address, challenging students to build mathematical models and algorithms that recognise the energy dignity of every Indian — valuing a villager’s first light as highly as a carbon credit in Europe. Urging IITians to question global data, he said, “Don’t read their code. Write your own.”

Adani argued that nations are not built by orders but by those who write their own story — “Rashtra adesh mankar nahi bante, apni gatha khud likhkar bante hain.”

He accused the developed world of “narrative colonization,” saying countries that heated the planet now lecture Bharat on cooling it. Despite this burden, he said, India is still leading responsibly.
