
Aastha Chopra spoke with the Anas Junaid, CEO of Hurun India and Apurva Sahijwani, the CEO of Avendus Wealth on the launch of the Avendus Wealth–Hurun India Uth Series 2025, which lists 436 young business leaders across Under 30, Under 35 and Under 40 categories. The report shows that nearly 80% are first-time founders, highlighting how young Indians are building companies from scratch. Bengaluru tops the list as the biggest hub, followed by Mumbai and Delhi. Software, financial services and healthcare are the most common sectors. The companies led by these young entrepreneurs together are valued at over 950 billion dollars and employ more than 12 lakh people. The CEOs said the list reflects rising ambition, strong digital growth and more youth choosing entrepreneurship over traditional jobs.
