Newly released US transparency (FARA) documents reveal Pakistan’s intensive lobbying efforts after India’s Operation Sindoor, following the Pahalgam terror attack. Islamabad reached out nearly 60 times to US lawmakers, the Pentagon, the State Department, and major media outlets like the Wall Street Journal and New York Times. To manage the fallout, Pakistan spent over ₹45 crore hiring six US lobbying firms. While it sold its defeat as a victory at home, the reality is harsher — new images show Hamas and Lashkar-e-Taiba operatives operating in Gujranwala. Pakistan’s desperation abroad contrasts sharply with its continued domestic terror exports, exposing a nation spending crores not for its citizens, but to counter India internationally.
