Petrol, diesel price cut by Rs 2.43, Rs 3.60 per litre

Oil marketing firms on Friday cut petrol and diesel price by Rs 2.43 per litre and Rs 3.60 per litre, respectively.

The revised rates are effective from midnight tonight.

With this announcement, the price of petrol in Delhi will become Rs 64.47 per litre. The new diesel price in Delhi will be Rs 46.12/litre.

State-owned fuel retailers IOC, Bharat Petroleum Corp (BPCL) and Hindustan Petroleum Corp (HPCL) revise petrol and diesel prices on 1st and 16th of every month based on average imported cost and rupee-dollar exchange rate in the previous fortnight.
