Redmi 10A specs revealed through TENNA listing, may launch soon

The Redmi 10A appears to be the next affordable device in the brand's launch timeline. It has bagged a bunch of certifications including FCC and 3C. Now a fresh report states that Redmi 10A has been spotted with model number 220233L2C on TENNA. While Redmi is yet to confirm the launch date of this purported device, frequent certification listings indicate that Redmi 10A is not too far away from launch.

Unfortunately, the listing fails to reveal the design of the Redmi 10A, so we are not aware as to how the upcoming phone may look. That said, the specs have been revealed on the database. As per which, Redmi 10A measures 164.9 x 77 x 9mm and weighs 194 grams. It may feature a 6.53-inch IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 720x1600 pixels.

The Redmi 10A is expected to feature an octa-core chipset Helio G25 chipset clocked at 2GHz. It is likely to be offered in 2GB, 4GB, 6GB and 8GB RAM models. While it may get 32GB, 64GB, 128GB and 256GB storage options. The listing further details a single 13-megapixel camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel camera for selfies.

The phone is listed with a 4900mAh battery which should support 10W charging, as per 3C certification. However, there's no mention of a fingerprint scanner, thus it's possible that the smartphone may rely on face-ID for authentication.

It is said that the global version of the Redmi 10A that bears model number 220233L2G has different specs as compared to the Chinese model. The global model appeared in the FCC listing with a 13-megapixel main and 2-megapixel secondary lens, unlike the single camera on the Chinese model. Also, it has different RAM and storage configurations. This varinat of Redmi 10A may get 2GB, 3GB and 4GB options. Whereas it could have 32GB, 64GB and 128GB storage variants. Interestingly, this model is said to get a fingerprint scanner for authentication.
