Summer Travel Surges Despite High Airfares

As Indians plan their summer vacations ahead, the fares of airline tickets are expected to rise due to demand and revenge travel. In fact, besides conventional travel plans to Goa and Srinagar, tourists are now willing to spend on foreign destinations like the Maldives, UAE, Singapore, Thailand, and Saudi Arabia.

Business Today Television speaks with the Chief Business Officer of Cleartrip, who shares with us key insights on the top destinations that tourists are travelling to and the existing high airfares. He shares, "Airfares have largely been stabilised, and strong summer bookings are expected." He adds that since pre-COVID levels, Cleartrip has seen a threefold growth in sales and bookings.
