Hopeful the Budget will boost e-commerce sector
Power and roads infrastructure investment will help e-commerce companies reach to a customer base which is unserviceable today. This will help boost growth of the industry.
Incentives for credit and debit card transactions will also propel growth of the e-commerce industry, which at times is limited by the dependence on cash on delivery.
The Budget has announced several investments to promote entrepreneurship, start-ups, and skilling. Announcements such as setting up of "SETU" will substantially promote the entrepreneurship ecosystem.
Also, implementation of the Goods and Service Tax will definitely help e-commerce but the implementation dates are more than a year away.
