Nokia begins N9 smartphone shipments

Nokia has begun shipping its N9 smartphone model, which is based on the based on the MeeGo open platform. After the N9, Nokia will use the Windows Phone operating system as its main platform and it is expected to launch Windows Phone 7 later this year.

Nokia N9 will be on sale in countries around the world soon. N9 offers free navigation and voice-guided maps and its storage capacity ranges from 16 GB to 64 GB.
