Gold and silver are both attracting investor attention, but the gold-silver ratio could offer clues on which metal may perform better from here. Ajay Kedia, MD & Director, Kedia Advisory, explains that gold remains a safe-haven asset, while silver is benefiting from rising industrial demand. With silver increasingly used in EVs, solar panels and semiconductors, its consumption outlook remains strong. The gold-silver ratio has also fallen from around 72 to nearly 67, suggesting potential relative strength for silver. While gold could continue to rise, Kedia prefers silver at this stage, citing its stronger industrial demand and higher potential returns.
