Snapdeal partners BookMyShow for online ticket booking

E-commerce firm Snapdeal on Wednesday announced partnership with BookMyShow to enable its customers book movie tickets online on Snapdeal.

Besides, the online retailer also provides services such as flight and bus ticket bookings, hotel reservations, personal services and food ordering.

"We are making rapid strides towards ensuring that Snapdeal becomes a one-stop solution for our customers.

Snapdeal's integration with a leading service provider like BookMyShow is another step in this direction," Snapdeal Senior VP for Partnerships Tony Navin said in a statement.

Snapdeal has set a target of 20 million daily transacting users by 2020. At present, it has around 1 million daily transacting users.

"Our association with Snapdeal will allow its large set of users to meet their movie ticketing needs through BookMyShow without having to leave the platform," BookMyShow VP - Marketing and Business Intelligence Marzdi Kalianiwala said.
