Ashok Leyland wins Bangladesh order for AC buses

Ashok Leyland has won an order to supply 88 AC buses to Bangladesh Road Transport Corporation. Ashok Leyland said the value of the order is worth $6.5 million.

Earlier, Ashok Leyland had won an order to supply 50 Vestibule buses to BRTC.  

Ashok Leyland's international operations saw a volume growth of 25 per cent last year.

Vinod K Dasari, Managing Director, Ashok Leyland, said winning this order was yet another significant step towards achieving Ashok Leyland's vision to be globally among top 10 truck and top 5 bus manufacturers.
