ESPL 2021: India Today Gaming signs Infinix Mobile as title sponsors

India Today Gaming announced India's first-ever franchise-based Esports league, the Esports Premier League (ESPL), featuring Free Fire as an esports title.

India Today Gaming announced India's first-ever franchise-based Esports league, the Esports Premier League (ESPL), featuring Free Fire as an esports title. The organizers have partnered with smartphone maker Infinix Mobile as the title sponsor. Infinix Mobiles is well known for its stylish and attractive designs. Infinix Mobile joining as title sponsor in the event shows the reach of esports in the smartphone industry.

India Today Gaming announced a multi-city Free Fire tournament for the teams based in India. ESPL 2021 is a multi-city tournament featuring a massive prize pool of Rs 25,00,000. ESPL 2021 will comprise more than 700 online matches with more than 300 hours of gaming content. Teams will compete against rivals to represent eight cities across the country that include Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Hyderabad, Punjab, Rajasthan, and Bangalore.

ESPL 2021 will run on India Today Gaming's in-house esports platform starting from the team's registration to display each team's result. The complete league will be streamed on multiple platforms, including OTT giant Disney+ Hotstar as well as the official YouTube and Facebook channels of India Today and Aaj Tak, along with their websites.

These are very exciting times as smartphone users continue to grow exponentially, and I believe the partnership with Infinix Mobile will help us intensify our mission of taking Esports to the next level in India."

The registration for the ESPL 2021 is on, gaming enthusiasts and gamers can register themselves on www.indiatodaygaming.com/espl. The registration for the phase 1 group will end on June 14, 2021. Whereas ESPL 2021 grand finals are scheduled for August 29, 2021.
