OnePlus launches buyback programme in IndiaOnePlus X. This program is valid for the purchase of all the three handsets - OnePlus One, OnePlus2 and OnePlus X.

After launching the OnePlus X in India, Chinese smartphone vendor OnePlus has now launched a buyback programme in India. The company has tied up with ReGlobe, who deals in end-of-life product management for exchange and buybacks.

Using this buyback program, users can trade-in their old smartphone while buying a new OnePlus device. This program is valid for the purchase of all the three handsets - OnePlus One, OnePlus2 and OnePlus X. But it isn't as simple as it was with Apple, Samsung and other brands. The company has launched two options - Buy first, Sell later and sell first, buy next.

Under buy first, sell later, if a customer opts to buy the new device first, ReGlobe's customer service will follow a compete procedure and share the invite code for the OnePlus smartphone and will schedule a pick-up for a future date.

Under sell first, buy next; the customer will receive an invite for their choice of OnePlus smartphone along with an Amazon Gift Coupon which matches the negotiated quote of the older device once the old device sale transaction is complete.

Users can evaluate the cost of their old smartphone by visiting dedicated ReGlobe page for OnePlus BuyBack Program. Users who opt to purchase the OnePlus 2 or OnePlus X post the exchange are also entitled to receive free insurance if the exchange value is equal to or greater than Rs 5,000, once both the transactions are complete.
