Skyfall, which hit the Indian screen on Thursday, had a strong weekend performance at Indian box office, though the collections came down after the first day of its release.

The latest James Bond franchise collected Rs 20.50 crore over its four-day weekend at the Indian box office, riding on its good performance particularly in South India.

Skyfall's opening weekend collections is the second highest ever for a Hollywood release but it spanned over four days.

Skyfall stars Daniel Craig as agent 007 and Javier Bardem as a villain bent on revenge.

However, Skyfall's collections saw a big drop on Monday, netting around Rs 2.50 crore. By the end of this week, Skyfall's total collections are estimated around Rs 28 crore.
