India on Friday announced unique printing solutions
that aim to improve security and efficiency in SMB and mid-market segments. "Mid-sized businesses in India are today demanding the same sophisticated solutions-enabled printing devices that have helped larger enterprises optimize their imaging and printing infrastructure," said Nitin Hiranandani, Director, Printing Systems, PPS, India.
The solutions include HP ePrinti Enterprise mobile, an on-the-go solution that lets users print documents from remote locations with enterprise level security and retrieve them on arrival. The cloud-based solution links to any registered network printer and easily integrates with existing environment. Once a job has been sent from a remote device, even a smartphone, the data will be received by the printer, but the prints will be retrievable only when the access code with the user is keyed in.
The secure pull printing option
, meanwhile, empower mobile users to print to the network and then "pull" jobs to any solution-enabled HP device. Pull printing virtually eliminates unclaimed documents. Users can also preview and reorder the list of jobs in their print queue.
The HP EcoSMART Fleet keeps a tab on energy and resource use from a single interface. It gives the information required to monitor, manage and control environmental impact of the printers in a company. The solution can help reduce costs by up to 30 per cent and energy usage by up to 80 per cent.
All these solutions are also customizable according to company requirements.
