Jio's Rs 149-plan includes unlimited voice calls, 300 MB data and 100 local and national SMSes for 28 days.

Since the entry of Jio on September 5, other private telcos have offered unlimited voice calling.

However, BSNL is the only telecom after Jio to offer the unlimited voice calling in a low-priced tariff plan.

BSNL is also working on infrastructure to accommodate more voice traffic and make use of its fibre-based broadband that has a network of 7-lakh route kilometres of fibre.

Mukesh Ambani's Reliance Jio is offering free voice calling and data under its 'Welcome Offer' till 31 December which has now been extended till March 31, 2017.
