After #IWearHandloom, Smriti Irani wants you to take #HandloomQuiz

When Smriti Irani was removed from the HRD ministry and moved to the Textiles ministry, it caused a stir in the nation. But Irani did not disappoint.

After her #IWearHandloom that took social media by a storm, the Union Cabinet Minister of Textiles has now come up with the #HandloomQuiz on MyGov portal.

The quiz aims to make people aware about the handloom industry and its vastness apart from its role in economic development and upliftment of people in rural areas. This also reflects how the government is trying its best to revive the textile sector.

Khadi enthusiasts, from all over the country, have started taking the #HandloomQuiz.

The quiz is timed and has 10 questions to be answered in 3 minutes. The question asked are related to the Indian textiles industry. The questions are randomly picked from a question bank. Once you complete the quiz, you will be awarded a certificate based on the points you earn.

The first 1000 quizzers to complete the #HandloomQuiz will get a discount voucher. Also, every hour two lucky winners will be announced who will get a special hamper.
