Hindalco Q3 profit rises to Rs 359.36 crore, shares gain

Hindalco on Thursday reported a net profit of Rs 359.36 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2014 as compared to Rs 333.98 crore in the year-ago quarter.

The company's total income increased from Rs 7,477.28 crore in Q3 FY15 to Rs 8,815.51 crore for the quarter under review.

Hindalco's scrip was trading 1.85 points (or 1.23 per cent) higher, at Rs 151.70 a piece on the Bombay Stock Exchange at 1:50 pm.
