WhatsApp has released an update for its iOS app users, allowing users to include video in their chat backups among other things.

1. Backup video chats
2. Improved design for cropping pictures and videos
3. Location-sharing via Apple Maps.
4. Feature to reduce data usage when making calls (Settings > chats and calls).
5. Old messages will load automatically when users scroll down in chats
6. You can customise notifications for individual chats and mute the noisier ones.
7. Mark chats as read or unread by swiping to the right.
