Bajaj Auto sales down by 3.76 per cent in September

Bajaj Auto today reported 3.76 per cent decline in total sales in September at 3,84,400 units as against 3,99,450 units in the same month last year.

Motorcycle sales during the month declined by 4.83 per cent to 3,30,228 units as against 3,47,010 units in September last year, the company said in a BSE filing.

Bajaj Auto's commercial vehicles sales during the month stood at 54,172 units compared with 52,440 units in the year-ago period, an increase of 3.30 per cent.

Its exports in September this year came in at 1,73,801 units as against 1,74,211 units a year ago, down marginally by 0.23 per cent, the company said.
